| PRESS RELEASE May 14, 2005 The Sarasota/ Manatee Farmworker Supporters are devoting their latest bi-monthly public forum to an investigation of the effects of pesticides on the Florida farmworker and on the fruits and vegetables that we consume. The public meeting will be on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at the Selby Public Library auditorium, 1331 First St., Sarasota, from 2 to 4 pm. The main speaker will be Ed Beaudoin who is the director of the Environmental Training Institute located at 15403 E. SR 64 in Bradenton. Mr. Beaudoin has over 20 years experience in teaching and promoting working with agriculture and the environment and has trained hundreds of companies from coast to coast in implementing vital provisions in the use of pesticides and other potential threats to the health and safety of the workers and avoidance of food product contamination.
